Cleaning Tip - Streak Free Window Cleaner
I know I posted recently a way to get hard water off of windows, but here’s a recipe that my friend uses for every day cleaning that’s easy to use, especially for big picture windows, that leaves your windows streak free and water repellant.
Recipe
½ Bottle of “Jet Dry” (the bottle she bought was just under 7 ounces so she measured out 3.5 oz)
4 Tablespoons Alcohol (She used rubbing alcohol)
¼ Cup Ammonia
1 handful of powdered dish-washer soap (which depending on the size of your hand could probably vary quite a bit! She used a “handful” which looked to her to be about ¼ cup. Give or take)
2 gallons of Hot water
Instructions
First hose down your window. Then apply the mixture using a sponge mop, or something similar to saturate the window. Then rinse again with the hose. No squeegee, no wiping it dry!
I’ve seen her huge picture windows and they always look amazing. So easy! Who knew?
